What is the Lymphatic System? The lymphatic system is a peice of the immune system and has many functions. These include removing harmful waste and toxins from our body and maintaining our fluid levels. However, unlike our circulatory system, our lymphatic system doesn't have its own pump. It is because of this that sometimes we may get fluid buildup in the lymphatic system itself, which causes facial swelling, puffiness, dark circles under the eyes and can even cause recurring infections. By delivering oxygen to the skin this treatment enhances circulation. It also will drain any buildup of the lymphatic fluid and releases waste and toxins out of your lymph nodes. By doing this, it relieves pressure, swelling, puffiness and any discoloration, such dark circles under your eyes. This treatment also manages breakouts caused by impurities and toxin in your body it also helps with fatigue, stress, and migraines. This treatment can be done both by manual massage or a machine, both ways are extremely effective. Should I Receive a Lymphatic Drainage Face Massage?  While this treatment is safe it may not be recommended for people who have a history of blood clots, kidney infection or disease, circulation problems or congested heart failure.
